EEDRIS ABDULKARIM, BABA FRYO SHUT DOWN RCCG CAMP IN PROTEST AGAINST ADEBOYE

Latest report from Lere Olayinka, ex Governor Ayo Fayose’s spokesman have it that Hip-hop artistes Eedris Abdukarim and Denge Pose crooner, Baba Fryo, have shut down the main gate of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to the report posted on his Facebook page, the protest was aimed at registering their grievance against the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, popularly called Daddy G.O.

The artistes were quoted as saying that their protest was against Daddy G.O's silence over the killings and general insecurity in Nigeria, which they considered "ungodly and hypocritical".

The protest, the report added, held on Monday 8th July, 2019, was to draw the attention of the foremost cleric to what they further described as his nonchalant attitude for not speaking up against President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo led administration in the face of  thousands of Christians being slaughtered daily, and with Leah Sharibu's continuous detention by Islamic fundamentalist group, Boko Haram.

“They called on the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to suspend Pastor Adeboye for complicity, accusing the renowned preacher of shielding(sic) away from truth because the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is a Pastor in the RCCG,” Olayinka reported.
