IGBOKWE DEBUNKS ALLEGED PLOT TO BURN DOWN ALABA MARKET BY YORUBA MISCREANTS

Engr. Joe Igbokwe.
Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu on Drainage and Water Resources, Engr. Joe Igbokwe, has raised the alarm on an allegation making the rounds that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked some Yoruba youths to set Alaba Internal Market ablaze and blame it on the banned Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPoB.

According to him, the allegation was in form of a video by the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. Igbokwe said the allegation was "a lie from the pit of hell", adding that the Yoruba people did not have the primitive character to carry out such a heinous act.

Hear him: "Our attention has been drawn to Nnamdi Kanu’s Video circulating on Social Media that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked Yoruba Youths to burn down Alaba International Market and blame it on IPOB. This is a lie from the pit of hell.
"For the avoidance of doubt, Yoruba I know very well having been in Lagos for close to 40 years do not have that kind of primitive character. They have cultural competence and emotional intelligence.

"As the most educated and most civilized ethnic group in Nigeria they do not play to the gallery. They have thinkers. They weigh all options before they act.Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB and ESN have been busy crushing and decimating Igbo businesses in the South East, killing Policemen, burning down police stations, breaking prisons, robbing and extorting millions from South  East business men and women.

"Today Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB, ESN have exposed Igbo nation to danger across Nigeria by killing a chieftain of APC, ALHAJI GULAK in Owerri, Imo State. As leader of Ndigbo in APC in Lagos and South West Nigeria, I am appealing to Nnamdi not to bring his madness to Lagos or anywhere in the South West and even Northern Nigeria. He should confine his madness to South East. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

"I advise market leaders in Lagos, South West, South South, North West, North East, North Central to ignore Nnamdi KANU’s antics and go about their normal businesses and duties. Even this cup will pass away. Let Igbo leaders speak now or keep quiet forever."
