TRAFFIC UPDATE ON THE EARLIER REPORTED TANKER CRASHES ON THE LAGOS - IBADAN EXPRESSWAY AROUND KARA/ IBAFO

As at 1640hrs, while efforts were ongoing to complete the transloading of the second tanker that crashed conveying PMS along the Lagos - Ibadan Expressway around Kara /Ibafo, there was sudden fire outbreak that engulfed the recovery area which has impaired traffic on both sections of the Lagos - Ibadan Expressway around this area.

Efforts are on to extinguish the fire and restore traffic.

Meanwhile members of the motoring public should exercise restraint and cooperate with the rescue team to restore traffic on the Lagos - Ibadan Expressway

The FRSC Sector Commander Clement Oladele has assured the motoring public that the FRSC Rescue Team would remained on ground till the obstruction is completely removed and traffic restored

The FRSC toll free number 122 could be reached to report emergencies.
